Blue sapphire is the gemstone ruled by Saturn. blue sapphire should be worn by the native of a birth chart in which Saturn is lord of auspicious houses. If Saturn as lord of an auspicious house is ill disposed or afflicted in any way in a birth chart, wearing of a blue sapphire will neutralize the evil effects of such disposition It is believed that blue sapphire gives very beneficial results but if it proves unsuitable it destroys the life of the native. It has been experienced that sometimes a blue sapphire, which is suitable for a nativity, proves very harmful to the native.
